Tuscany Vows
Intimate celebration among Tuscan cypresses
• Tuscany, Italy

Set among rolling hills and cypress-lined paths, this intimate wedding blends modern minimalism with Old World charm. We approached the day with a documentary eye and a refined aesthetic, focusing on quiet gestures, soft light, and the meaningful details that defined Jessica & Michael’s celebration.
A Quiet Morning
The day began in a stone villa where soft curtains filtered the sunrise. We captured handwritten vows, floral sketches, and the silk gown resting by an open window—details that told the couple’s story without words.
For portraits, we stepped into the courtyard where muted tones and natural textures reflected the couple’s minimal vision. Our direction was subtle; we let moments unfold organically while refining composition and light.
Ceremony Among Cypresses
The ceremony unfolded beneath a sculptural arch of seasonal blooms. A string quartet underscored the vows as the landscape shifted with late afternoon light. We worked unobtrusively, honoring intimacy while preserving clarity and form.
Every frame balanced space and emotion—hands entwined, a shared smile, the rustle of olive trees. The resulting sequence feels cinematic yet sincere, true to the essence of the day.
Evening Reception
Dinner was served al fresco under a canopy of lights. Minimal table settings featured linen, stone, and delicate stems—textures that complemented the villa’s warm palette. Toasts drifted into the blue hour, followed by a first dance on the terrace.
“We barely noticed the cameras—only the feeling of being fully present. The photos bring us back to that quiet joy.”
We closed the night with a short session among the arches, using natural light and gentle motion to craft images that feel timeless yet modern.
